Barn Troubles. I need desperate help

I just bought a barn. Which is great! I plan to keep my horses in it and use the pasture for horses I’m selling. But my horses in the barn are always hungry and losing weight. They never get enough energy even if I feed them 100% of four types of feed. 400% energy. I don’t know what to do.

To answer your question directly, you're feeding your horse Way Too Much Food. Your horse can only eat so much in a day. Check out this first guide, the part headed 'Taking your first turn' will explain all that you need to know.

The great thing to keep in mind, is that NO HORSE can die of starvation or obesity. So you have time to learn how to care for your horses. The only way a horse can pass on in this game, is from old age. That starts at 17 years and the chance increases with each turn. It appears (for most of us) to occur most often between 22 and 24 years.
