It really depends, it may vary between your horses breed, age, height, weight and how much they work. Putting a horse in a pasture will feed them but I recommend trying to balance out your horses diet using different feeds found in the stable. Under the food type there are 3 bars. if the green or yellow space in the bars goes over the line in the bar, your horse will be come fat. FYI: the horses can't die of starvation or obesity. They may become bigger in size and weight but they can't die of food.
