Horse Trailers

Post by CBlueberry »

I think that competitions are great and all in this game, but recently in some of that time doing nothing that I'm sure everyone has, I came up with an idea: trailers.
What would trailers do?
There would be trailers for 1 horse, 2 horses, etc. and you would need to have enough trailer space to be able to enter horses in competitions. Frustrating maybe, but pretty cool  They would cost game money or Pony Tokens(PTs) and would have different looks.
What do you guys think?

I personally do not support this idea. Because of the way competitions are managed, you may have a horse entered in a competition that does not run for months. This could potentially take up a competition spot even after the horse has passed on. It also would add a greater "pay-to-win" aspect than the game currently has. While right now you can buy things that help your account, you don't have to buy your way into player competitions in any way other than having game money on hand. Adding a secondary barrier to entry would be unfair and skew the game toward established players, or players with high disposable income, which is something this game generally tries to avoid.

Also, on the coding end, while this would not be of highest difficulty it is potentially finicky and error-prone.

I'm against the idea of trailers as a tool for competitions, but I'd love to see them as decorations :)
