Roaning Palomino?
Hello all! I've been working on breeding colorful Kathiwaris and Baladi's for a little while and came across a colt that I can't quite place.
He is a Baladi stallion ( 3 years as of writing this) with what looks to be a palomino color with some roaning and possibly silver? I'm not a genetics genius by any measure but I was incredibly curious as to how he might be classified.
Sire is a red roan and dam is a sooty buckskin.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Roaning Palomino?
- Dont see any silver horse in pedigree. I guess its only Sooty gene making a bit of mess so he is Sooty Roan Palomino

Re: Roaning Palomino?
Seina's right. But even if he had Silver you couldn't tell just by looking at him, as Silver is invisible on chestnut based horses.

Thank you for you help! ^_^I did go look again and he doesn't have silver in his lines anywhere. So just a funky guy I guess! Thanks again!!
