Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

Morgans
The Morgan Horse
America's first official breed, and a great one at that. The morgan is known for its stamina, willingness, and versatility, the original foundation stallion "Figure" became known far and wide as a horse that could out pull, out trot, and out gallop any other horse on the East coast. He was said to start his days working fields and end his days in match races, performing to his peak in each endeavor. His get have his conformation and tenacity, which they also passed down to present day morgans. They are popular mounts for just about any imaginable discipline due to their intelligence, flash, and ethic. I say this of my own morgan: Can't lunge him to get him to behave, he'll go until parts start falling off before he listens (and that's when he threw a shoe).
Origin: Vermont, USA, 1800
Extinct: No
Height: 14-15.3HH
Common Use: Literally everything
Common Colors: Literally everything
Creation
Thoroughbred x [ Arabian x Welsh Cob ]
Goal: Start the Morgan breed and keep them true to real life, with highest stats possible
Necessary breeds not yet created: Welsh Cob, Welsh Mountain, Hackney
They are also extremely fashionable (He hates me)

Re: Morgans
Hahaha! Lovely horse
In the long term I might also be interested, but right now I'm on the budyonny project.

Re: Morgans
Working on getting Hackneys, trying for Norfolks. Control the Hackney, control the world!
I managed to get a colt and filly for a Hackney cross on my first try. Now they gotta grow up and show me the goods

Re: Morgans
I have the crosses needed to create the Welsh mountain pony and then the Welsh Cob, it's just a matter of aging them up, if you guys still need them I'll put them up for stud.

Re: Morgans
Morgans have officially entered the game.

Re: Morgans
I have a Morgan. And I used to show Morgans and Saddlebreds.

Re: Morgans
Hey all! I am wanting to get on board with breeding Morgans as well. I have a really strong Welch Cob line, greens in breeders report with nothing below average. I also have an Arabian line, and all those animals have at least four golds, or two golds and a green in their lines. The only thing I don't have are the Thoroughbreds. Can anyone point me to some good animals? I want to add complete fresh blood into the Morgan lines, that is also flashy and high in breeders report. I love taking on new projects and have found my Clydesdales to be complete so I want to try something new. Any tips?
