Who wants to breed endurance marwaris with me? Looking for breeding partners :)
Hi there
So my competetive TB Racer Line is doing pretty well so far, so I am looking for a new challenge.
I already started this project and bred some marwaris from AC horses.
To breed a marwari you have to cross a kathiawari horse and a arabian x turkeme (50%) horse.
To breed a kathawari you have to cross a baladi and arabian x turkmene.
And to get the baladi, you have to cross a NAB and an arabian^^.
This has been the journey so far. I like to keep the COI as low as possible. I just dont see much skill in just inbreeding
the horses all over and all over again. Thats also why I dint use 70HGP / GOLD STATS Arabians to breed to a Nab or a Turk, because their COI is like 120% or something.
I want to breed colourful horses, thats why I started the marwaris, because TB usually arent spotted or are having a tobiano coat. I find the marwari horse extraodinary pretty and special.
Its such hard work building a breed on your own and good arabian x turkmenian crosses are hard to find and to get.
And I would love to find someone or even mutiple player to share the work and fun with

Can I get updates on this as you go? I'm part of the 0% COI Club and would love to see how this goes :O

I would love to try, though my herd would remain small (not enough roomFameDaLupa wrote:Hi there

Heyhey, thanks for your replies.
I picked my TB Projekt up again and put the Marwari PJ on my side account.
I still want to breed marwari endurancers, though and I want to make them famous^^.
Here are the horses, that are included in that project so far:
https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/barn/133513
https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/barn/133582
https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/barn/73927
https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/104517
You can also see on my side account various barns with Nabs or Turks, Arabians etc, which are helpful to built that breed.
Whats important to me?
- COI under 50% .
- Facemarks like blazes, tobiano patterns, any kind of patterns.
They shall become the most beautiful horses.
- Endurancers need to be good in SPEED, STAMINA, TEMPO, AGILITY.
So we aim for good comments in this area.
We ignore Confo so far until we have stabilised the genes hidden in the comments.
- Then we can start breeding for that right Conformation.
- Its important for me to have breeding partners, so we can create a big stock with different lines to
be more succsessfull, flexibel and we are able to avoid inbreedin as much as possible.
- While creating a new breed genes are more difficult to pass on. That was my experience.
If I breed Kathiawari + Kathiawari I will see good result easier, that breeding a kathiawari + arabian x turmenian,
which would create a marwari, if luck is on your side.
So I breed a bunch of Kathiawari and breed them togehter to stabilise a genpool. Also there is a lack of good arabian x turkmenian stallions, which are really important for that PJ.
Thats why I am working on having great Kathiawaris and great arabian x turk crosses to create the marwari.
I already have quite a lot of marwaris aswell.
- to keep the COI low, we have our diverse lines, but also can easily breed some new Kathiawari from AC horses.
The NABs, which are needed, have the coat pattern I crave so much^^.
If you check the horses I have you can see I already managed to get some beautiful blazes.
Here is the Wiki:
Arabian + Nab = Baladi
Arabian + Turk = Akhal Teke or Arabian x Turk.
Baladi + Arabian x Turk = Kathiawari
Kathiawari + Arabian x Turk = Marwari

Thats the way.
I have a lot of stallions, but I like to point these two out:
♕ Artoc ♕
He is creating amazing offspring and he has a very unique coat, which he also passes on. You cant find process
pictures in his gallery.
♕ Pure Talent ♕
Pure Talent is my best Kathiawari Stallion I got, fathered by Artoc.
He got unique talent in Tempo and Agility. I guess this genes come from the Stud Moonstruck I used quite a few times.
But I have a lot of other great ones. Just check out my farm.
- Also, I would want to keep our lines PRIVAT. No seeling/ studding to public.
We can always discuss this with single horses, but I say for now, that should be the rule.
I aim for nothing lower than breaking the endurance records in the end, but that might be a long way.
Let me know what you think. And what kind of help to you need to be able to particapate.
I am willing to help you out, whenever needed. Stud fees or horses purchases.
Also If you want horses from the AC, and cant find any on the market I will help you out, so you can start breeding
from scratch, so can develop different lines and maybe other genpools or nice suprises
If you have horses, that would be beneficial for that PJ, please feel free to link them here.
If you need horses, let me know exactly what you need.
Also there might be a few helpful studs out there, please feel free to link everything that would make sense.
So far so good, if you still want to participate, let me know.
I am not sure if you are all famliar with the hierachy of the breeding comments, so I will post this seperatly.
Kind regards,
FameDaLupa
