colors ?
first I want to say how great this game is and how I love all of the colors you already have but a question on,
#1 why is the North African Barb and Mustang usually more colored than the paint the paint breed needs some more color
#2 can Quarter Horses have face markings normally real life Quarter horses have blazes, stars, stripes, etc.
sorry if I sound like im complaining not trying to. Thanks just wondering

Re: colors ?
This is more about the breeders on the game than the genes behind the horses. The North African Barb is one of our AC breeds that has the most tobiano patterns, next to the shetlands. Our admins made a decision on this that they should... I think, though I don't remember completely that they did this so that another horse breed, rather than just a pony breed has a good quantity of tobiano genes. The other AC horse breeds are rather unknown for tobiano, so they settled on the North African Barb. It's likely that when the other paint colors come out, they may remain divided up along the same lines, with the shetlands and the NAB's with much more than the other AC breeds (perhaps the other AC breeds may get none at all, I don't know how our admins might plan on something like that).alaskabarrelracer wrote:first I want to say how great this game is and how I love all of the colors you already have but a question on,

So, the reason that NAB's and mustangs appear to have more color than paints and paint breeds is nominally because the owners that breed these breeds have not bred more color into them. Mustang owners (rather a few in particular) have made it purposefully more prolific by spreading their own lines around. Thus making it easy and more regular to see the painted mustangs.
As for horse markings on face and legs, first it needs to be noted that all of our blazes and socks are all directly from the tobiano gene. They are (as of this point and maybe permanently for our game) not separate genes. They have offered quite a few different markings on face and legs so you can, with a little bit of diligence and perseverance, design your own markings. Certain AC horse breeds can help with this. Belgains, Arabians and Caspians have a few of the facial and legs genes that will eventually offer nice blazes and socks without too much crossover (if any at all) onto the body itself. Tarpans have a lot of snippets and prze's have a little mix of snippets and stars.
Does that help at all?
