Hello! I noticed that you bred a mare to my stallion Desert Cobra. I made it very clear that he is a private stud and not to use him without asking for my permission. You could have asked and I would have let you use him for a reasonable price for as many breedings as you want. I am kind of offended that someone would breed to one of my best-statted racing Thoroughbreds without permission, especially when I explained that he was private on his stud ad. I know that it is also my fault since I put him up for stud knowing the risks, but I did my best to make my wishes for him clear in his ad.sholm23 wrote:...
I'm not mad at all, but in the future I would like for you to ask before using my stallions. Also, if you wanted to use my stud, I'd prefer that you breed him to Thoroughbred mares only because purebred progeny with ideal racing stats is very important to me. I am not saying this to offend you, I just want you to know that breeding with private studs without permission is not something people like to happen to their private lines. Like I said before, I am not mad at you, but not everyone will be as laid-back about it as I am.
I do not care what you do with the foal as it's your horse that you bred, but it would be nice for you and others to abide by my (and other people's) wishes and ask before you breed with a private stud. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a good day.
