Potential Record Holder?
I have this horse and he raced at level 1 steeplechasing with this time:
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2273858
https://www.horseworldonline.net/compet ... ition=1034
Time: 10:16.63 minutes
The world record for Level 1 steeplechase is
Time: 10:16:47
Do you think my horse could potentially break a steeplechasing record?
Any Ideas?

I was kind of worried at first because it usually is difficult to break the level 1 world record (of every discipline) mainly because your horse has to surpass the score on his first competitions because if you are not careful enough your horse will probably and most commonly get a higher PPS level which means that he won't be allowed to enter that level of competition.
However, if you take a look at the result you will see that both level 3 and 7 world records are around 10:19 minutes!
Since your horse has managed to give a result of 10:16 minutes there is a huge chance that he might break those world records as well!
But again keep in mind that the fact that your horse got such a good result on this level does not guarantee you that he will on other levels.
Take a look at the current world record holder of level 1 in Steeplechasing. He broke the level 1 world record on his first competition after that his results got worse. The owner champed him on two level 3 comps and instead of giving such a good score, he gave above 10:30 and now his PPS level is 5 which means that the owner can hope that the horse will do well in level 7 comps (which should guarantee him a win like level 3 was supposed to)
Which also brings me to my final point, horse results also depened on how well the horse does on each and every level and not only on what his best score is.

Btw I noticed that he has already reached a PPS of level 3 which means that what we would consider as the easiest level of breaking world record will soon be over if his PPS goes up.
So right now level 1 is not possible but level 3 and 7 is. Keep in mind to only enter him in level 3 comps for now which will just dlow the rate with which your horse goes up in levels. I can create 17 comps of level 3 in Steeplechasing, I will link them so you can enter them as soon as possible since I believe that even if the comps take 3 days to run, even if your horse's PPS level goes up during the 3 days the competitions will still run with your horse as a participant in them.

Congratulations!!!
Btw why not level 10? His PPS level is 4 so he has the chance to break every world record from level 4 and up!
