In your signature you said something about needing a manager for something. Do you still need one?

Yes, a permanent manager for the newsletter.
I'm the interim fill-in manager.

You're a senior member of HWO. So that's not a problem.
You'll need to have the funds to support it (the current manager challenges I can fulfill, if you can't).
You seem to be entirely versed on forum coding. So that's not a problem.
You'll only need to achieve all-writer approval before you take over management.

Plus I can stick around to help.

Is that something you might want to take over?

Covering any branch if a writer can't find a replacement.
Keeping the writers on-time (I'll give you the schedule I have them on if you take the position).
Making sure the formats are adequate and at least similar.
Ensuring the writer's don't miss something.
Helping to replace a writer when a term is up (if needed).
Adding in ads at the request of the community (like stud and for sale, among others). I use the code (Code) and write the adds so that the writers can just click the select all and paste it write into their release.
Keeping watch over the forums and noting to the appropriate branch of things that should be entered into the releases, like pertinent clubs that open.
And, beyond all this, trying to figure out ways to popularize the newsletter itself, it's still suffering from being ignored.
Also, making, voting (from the writers) and implementing policy changes.

Those are the basics. So you wouldn't necessarily have to write any of the branches yourself, but the overseeing of the newsletter can be just as time-consuming and more than just writing a branch.

There's a few random other things that aren't immediately coming to mind though... spell checking...

Let me think about it, I want to make sure I actually have the time...

Yes, take your time. Consider everything. I don't want to hand something like this over to somebody that might not be fully prepared for it.

If you think you might, and want to make a dry run of it, then we can give it a go for a month and see if you can handle it... then extend it for a couple months... then you can make a final decision afterward.

So, please do, consider it heavily.
