Shades of Perlino
I thought you guys would find this interesting. Two perlinos with completely different shades. (Both are directly descended from AC Turks with no other breeds involved, assuring that their only possible dilution is cream.)
As you can see, the stallion is a much richer, yellower shade. If you look through his gallery you can see he also has a bit of sooty making him slightly darker as he ages, which only adds to the yellow and is almost making him look like a cream-pearl. The mare on the other hand is a much brighter shade, accented by her metallic and her stunning high black stockings. She may also have the plume gene making her mane and tail so much lighter, though I don't know enough about that gene to say for sure.
Also, please let me know if you see something about either one of them that I'm missing - cryptic dun or anything like that.
