Wow I am honoured that players recommended me to help you!Wild Rose Boarding wrote:Hello, I am a new player. I am looking for a player to help me and lots of people recommended you.
Could you help me with the basics?

Warning- Really long text below

There are plenty of guides to help you get started and learn the basics of HWO! I have actually linked some of them on your Boarding topic (here is the exact reply)
The best way to start this game is to figure out what you want to do in this game. Do you want to become a trainer? A champer? Do you want to be a breeder of quality horses? A breeder of just a specific breed? Or be all of them together?
When I started this game I wanted to be a trainer. I saw this as a great opportunity to become independent from something that is needed in the game and help the community with either selling trained horses or by making a training facility.
Becoming a trainer helped me a lot when I wanted to breed a very good competitive line of Arabians. I did not have to pay 25,000 dollars to train my horses and have to wait for days in order for the trainer to finish other orders and then wait for my horse to be trained.
(don't get me wrong, there are players who offer discounts for new players. I just happened to create this account, never play it for a few months and then come back later so I did not get to have the new player privileges

However, other players did not begin as trainers but as breeders and were just fine with getting their horses trained from other players.
A really important thing for getting good horses and having a really good farm in this game is by having a good money balance.
One of the best ways to earn money is not through player made competitions! It is by owning a grinder and entering him in Local Shows.
What is a grinder though? A grinder is a really talented horse that is fully trained and has the ability to enter a level 10 Local Show of a specific discipline and get first place.
Here is where you can get a grinder: ᏰᎶᏋ Grinder Sales- make your order and when your horses are finished I will pay for them, k?

Trainer:
If you want to become a trainer then you definitely have to check this guides. It is the guide that I use and almost every player here does which will allow you to train a horse in 3 years (horse world online years).
Make sure to follow every step in order and not miss anything!!

Champer:
In order to champ someone else's horses or your own if you want to start your own competitive line you will need to know a few basic things.
In order for a horse to compete well it must be trained! Of course that does not mean that you cannot enter a horse in competitions, it just means that you will see a huge difference in the results of a trained horse with an untrained one.
Every discipline (for example Racing or dressage) has specific stats that your horse will need to be good in order to compete well. For example if you want to begin a Race-horse line you will need to focus mostly on speed then stamina and after that Strength. Every discipline has 4 stats, the Racing discipline just happens to have the speed twice (it is judged twice, the second time it is not judged that hard though).
Apart from specific stats a discipline also has a specific weight and temperament that your horse will need to be at.
Little_Cookie771 has made a guide informing us of these things. (Click here to see the guide)
You can check out this guide if you want!

Breeder:
In order to be a breeder you will need to be able to identify a good horse from a bad one in order to build good lines.
The Breeder's Report is a key in order to see if the horse is a good one as well as to see which discipline the horse would be good at.
The comments for each stat can be red, blank, green and gold. Gold comment shows that the horse's stat is really good. A green comment shows that it is just good. A blank comment shows that it is average and sometimes average to awful and a red comment shows that the horse is awful in that stat.
You can see every comment from the best to worse in each stat here
Horse Genetic Potential also is important. Really good horses have 70k and more. A good horse has a HGP around 65k. And an average to bad horse has less that 60k.

That is all I can provide you for now as I really do not want to tire you more
