Why?

Why does this always happen? I have two great parents and they throw an AWFUL foal. Both the parents had 61 speed and they gave me a 53 speed foal. I need an explanation :lol:

It just happens.. I bred a 66 to a 63 and it threw me a 58. :I
Also, it looks to me (I am not yet sure as she has not been aged much) that this filly may be a Flaxen Chestnut.
