Color confusion

Post by emuhzee »

Hi there, I just started playing the game recently and I love it. I'm a bit lost when it comes to colors, but I'd love to know this guy's coloring since he was one of my first horses. Thank you!!

Your horse is buckskin (Bay + 1xCream). The changes to his coat are caused by the appaloosa spotting gene (Lp). The most obvious effect on his early coat are the snowflake spots on his shoulder. At his current age he is experiencing heavy appaloosa sooty (turning his yellow black) and varnish (the cloudy white markings). The varnish is also what is causing his mane and tail to become white.
