Norwegian Fjord

Post by xXxDruidxXx »

Ok, so I've heard others put up there goal, here is mine.
To be quite honest its not a particularly difficult breed to obtain but then that gives me a chance to build a solid base quite quickly. Also I've found that creating breeds very far down the line leaves you with soo many extra horses haha.

I'd like to know if anyone else is creating this breed or will at some point have any Norwegian Fjord's as I don't want mine to be too dramatically inbred.

Thank you for reading :D

I am trying to but finding a female tarpan of appropriate size has proved quite hard.

Yay I'm not alone haha. I've just got to wait for my foals to grow up then breed them and I should have fjord's soon. I also found height was difficult for me. Instead I bred a female przewalski with a stud tarpan, as males are often taller than females and tarpans I found to be taller than przewalski's. Just a tip, worked for me but maybe I got lucky XD Good luck!

Ok my mare is pregnant with the possibility of a fjord foal but I think it will be too short if I'm honest. Yet, once my colt is old enough, I believe as long as I find a decent mare he shall have a perfect offspring.

I've now got a Norwegian foal colt, if anyone is interested I'll put him up for stud once he is of age.

Does anyone have any Norwegian Fjord fillies or mares they'd be willing to sell me?
