So, I'm in band and we have to audition for our seats. 1st chair is usually what you want because it's like the highest honor and the most challenging music. I play the clarinet and have been playing the clarinet for 5 years. I was only 2 points off from getting 2nd chair! Usually I get 4th chair so big improvement! I do feel like I'm a lot better than I was last year

That's so great Oreo! I can't relate because I go to a small private school and I'm the only base in my whole band so I guess and first chair, but I'm also last chair. Anyways, that's amazing that you are second chair. Before long, you'll be in first chair with lots of practice
