So I made an account and I’d really like to work with primarily with shetlands and other ponies.
What would the best temperament and training regiment be for training in obstacle driving?

Re: Question
The best weight would be moderate and probably spirited/ calm but thats only my opinion, others say otherwise.Willow Breeze Ranch wrote:So I made an account and I’d really like to work with primarily with shetlands and other ponies.

The best training would be full but if you want to pay less you could get them only trained in the needed stats for Obstacle Driving.
For Example - Obstacle Driving's Main Stats Are,
Strength,
Agility,
Stamina,
Balance
So you'd probably want greens or golds in the breeders report in those specific statistics.
And there's some trainers who do training in only certain stats like those 4 only for a decreased price (dependant on stat)
If you can do conformation checks make sure to check those as they can be very helpful as to decide if there is even a point in training your horse and if it's up to be a good competitor in Obstacle Driving.
If theres anything I've missed just reply back:D
