Another crossbreeding question...
So most new breeds require crossbreeding.I'm wondering if those crossbreeds need to be F1 (both parents are purebred) or if I can breed the crosses to eachother. For example, Akhal-Tekes are bred by crossing Turkmenes and Arabians. To make an Akhal-Teke, do the parents need to be one Arab and one Turkmene, or can they both be Arabian x Turkmene crosses?

Re: Another crossbreeding question...
In the Akhal-Teke instance, where it is a simple cross of two breeds vs a more complex pedigree of 3 or 4 breeds, breeding two Arab x Turkmenes together will work as well as breeding an Arab and a Turkmene. This only works with 2 breed crosses, so don't try it with, say, Mongolians.

Signature? I don't need no stinkin' signature! Everybody knows who I am already!
