An Explanation
This is an explanation of my general dealings with Arabian Project and Training Services. Not all of our deals because that would take up 2 pages,
, but a general overview of our dealings together.
In my dealings with both Arabian Project and Training Services, it first began when Arabian Project asked me to partner up with her on a grinding service. I would breed the horses, and she would train them and sell them. All the talk going around at the time about how Arabian Project and Training Services are the same, and how they faked their age, drew tensions between us to a breaking point. I finally decided to confront Arabian Project, and ask for proof that her and training services were 2 separate people, otherwise I would call off all our dealings.
This was when Arabian Project introduced me to Training Services, her younger sister. For a couple days I constantly kept asking them for proof that they were different people, but they told me that their parents wanted them to maintain their privacy, which was totally understandable. After a couple weeks of talking back and forth, I became tolerably certain that they were 2 different people, because they talked different, they acted different, and they disliked each other. I wasn’t sure what to think about them.
Then Arabian Project took my horse. I had put him up for offers because I was going to have Training Services train him, and I accepted their purchase offer before I actually looked at who had made the offer, or how much it was for. She refused to give him back, which seriously upset me. I’ve never spoken to Arabian Project since.
A week or two ago, Training Services relayed an offer from Arabian Project that if I agreed to post for them, then they would give him back to me. Of course I accepted, because I really did value that foal. She followed through on her promise after a couple days, but the mutual distrust and dislike continued. Then Training Services put a grinder up for me to buy, and I made an offer. Arabian Project then made a counteroffer, and lo and behold there was now a bidding war between me and Arabian Project. The bid got up to 150K (mine), which was at that time about half my income. Stupid of me, I know, but I really didn’t like her. This was basically the end of my dealings with Arabian Project.
To move onto Training Services. I was in need of a private trainer, and since most of the training forums were closed, I asked Training Services if she would train my horses for me, and she said yes. That is what kept our communication open. I relied on her for training my horses, and so I was unwilling to break with her, even though there were many little provocations and lots of talk revolving around them. I did try to break with her once, but then she got sad, and well, I’m one of those people who can’t say no because they trust too easily. I gave her a third chance. (We’re on her 5th or 6th chance right now…)
Then Training Services and I began to become friends. We told each other about school life, etc, etc, and we got used to each other, and I learned how to “live” with her. I agreed to be her secretary for her new training forum, and I let her use my tertiary account “SunnyHillsRanch32306” for holding untrained horses. I also told her that she could sell certain horses in my pastures, but not others. The next day I found out that she had posted another training forum using my account, and she had sold several horses with specifications I had specifically asked her not to sell. She barely apologized, and we moved on. I contemplated locking her out of the account, but that seemed (to soft, pushover me) to be a little harsh and/or mean. So I didn’t.
As of now, I have no idea what to think of Arabian Project or Training Services, but I do believe that they are 2 seperate people. I regret that many of you have begun to look upon me with distrust, and it makes me very sad to think that I have a choice coming up between all of you guys, who I view as my friends (hope you don’t mind), and Training Services who can get under my skin, but is still a nice person.
Do NOT get me wrong! This post is not meant to make you feel sorry for me or anything like that. I simply wrote this as an explanation of my dealings with Arabian Project and Training Services, so that you guys can understand our dealings.
I hope I can still be friends with all of you even though there is so much drama surrounding this subject. I'm sorry if I've caused anyone inconvenience or distress, it was NOT intended!

Obviously, you felt a need to post it. Don't feel regretful that you did.Sarah32306 wrote:...
Indeed, you are in the middle of both of them (or were) and was, at least by association, a part of the previous dramas.
As long as there is no additional drama, or very little additional drama, things will eventually smooth out.
You may feel a bit ostracized and perhaps there is some truth to this. Give it time. As long as everything remains even-keeled, eventually things will reset and you'll stop feeling this way.
Don't let yourself be taken advantage of too much. At least do so with full understanding of what you're allowing to happen and limit your own losses.
As an additional note. By sharing your account with a player that's under COPPA regulations, you run the risk of having that shared account locked under COPPA as well. This has already been said by our admin. COPPA regulation is there to protect our under-aged community from the nastiness on the internet. The parents or guardians can have the regulations formally lifted. Until such things come to pass, or minimum age is reached, our admins MUST follow the law.
