Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Why do I keep on getting Paso Fino FILLIES?!

Post by #Yfke7 »

Hi!
I have a problem, of which I am not sure if it can be solved. I am breeding Paso Fino's, but I have never gotten a colt, only fillies. Can I solve this problem with something, or do I just keep on breeding untill I get a colt???
Please help me!

It is most likely the breeding pair you have. If you keep breeding the same mare and stallion and are getting colts than that is most likely all they will produce. If you want fillies I would recommend changing the breeding pair. :D

It certainly does seem like that!

Changing breeding partners can 'appear' to change the outcome.

According to our admins, the choice between a filly or a colt is simply the 'flip of a coin'.
But some of us have found a link between seasons, bloodlines and even the time of the day. Of course... the game defines the sex of the foal with the proverbial coin flip.
