Many people (really any that have gone premium with only a few exceptions), will tell you that premium is well worth it.
It is worth it, but not needed. One can become a top player in this game with never going premium. However... the perks DO make going premium worth it.
You will earn PT and days more quickly. There is no earnings difference between basic and upgraded, the difference comes down to the fact that you have MORE days to begin with and they replenish quicker, thus by sheer day-turning volume you will earn more.

I don't purchase PT pack. I would suggest you go for the best value, if you can. I also don't have an opinion on what time of the year. If you go to school, then do you play more during the summer? Then summer would be your best option. Also, consider the holidays and the fact that you may stay with family and not have access to the computer... for how long will you not have access? These are things you might want to consider before upgrading.

Once you go premium, like I said, you'll earn PT quite a bit faster, so not having any leftover once upgraded will be negligible... I think in the first week I had already earned well over 100 PT back (I upgraded with I think 3 PT left over).

For the length of time upgrade, if you suspect you may have months that you can't get on, it may prove worthless for you to upgrade for more than a month at a time. If you really don't have a problem like that, then I might suggest saving up for the 6-month pack. The 6-month pack is the best savings (there are no additional savings between the 6-month and the year).

Hi Sawd10,
I recently got a premium. And I too asked for opinions, lots of people said go for monthly so that's what I did and even for starting your first premium time slot I reccomend for the first time ever do a month to see if you actually like it

I don't buy PT packs I just take the time to earn them from local shows as I'm not allowed to spend money on this game.

It is 1000% worth it in my opinion because when I wasn't premium I felt as though I was bothering people with it for conformations but now I can do it I feel as though I am helping them.

Tips again maybe start with a 1 month for the first time to see if you actually like it, I don't really have any others sorry

I suggest maybe 50-100 PT as its easier to save up for the next time slot of premium. I saved up to 600 then got premium but that's just my opinion

Your description was very helpful. My "life" Savings of PT is 394. (That's what I have right now). I'm fairly close.
I am Home-Schooled, so I can basically get it whenever I want. (So 6 months may be a good option). I find it painful getting PT one every 2 turns... XD but I'm taking as you said, that you earn PT a lot faster when your premium. I have never been premium before, so I definitely want to try it.

Hey It is so worth having it you get to put as many horses for sale has you want! I get the 600 pts and i have 100pts left plus what ever i had before.

YEah, I heard that you can have unlimited horses for sale! I think they awesome because it is PAINFUL only being able to have 2 horses up for sale... Because say you have two horses up for sale that are people's gay you are returning. Then, you head- I mean NEED to get rid of a horse. You take one of the person's horses down. You put the horse your selling up for sale. You goto your farm. You have a message, you press it; the owner of the horse says "My horse is not up for sale" ! AH,it's so annoying. I think that part of premium will be very worth it.
