Warning to everyone
I have had a bad experience with a game called Howrse. I deleted my account on Howrse because the game isn't fair to anyone. I'm just warning all of you now so you won't be disappointed. This game, Horse World Online, is far better than Howrse.

If you do not want to answer this you do not have to but what kind of bad experience did you have with the game?PeacefulOreo wrote:I have had a bad experience with a game called Howrse. PS: I do not play this game, I didn't even know it existed until now so I am just asking out of curiosity.

There's many things that I don't like:ScarlettMay wrote:If you do not want to answer this you do not have to but what kind of bad experience did you have with the game?PeacefulOreo wrote:I have had a bad experience with a game called Howrse. 1. When you 1st join, your ability to do things are extremely limited (you can't have an equestrian center, you can't access the direct horse sales, etc.) until you have logged onto the game for 30 days called having your "seniority".
2. There's no general chit chat forums like there is on here and any post that isn't related to the forum (advertise equestrian center, looking for equestrian center, game questions, or about the game's special events) it's censored (meaning that no one can see what you originally posted and/or they can't respond to the post)
3. my one friend was randomly banned from the game without being given any reason as to why they were banned.
4. you have under 10,000 Equus (Howrse game money) and since you don't have access to the direct sales, you can't easily get a horse from the auction because other players can easily outbid you
5. you start with 2 meh horses (which causes the issue from reason 4, the reason right above this one)
6. You can't act like a moderator on the forums is a rule and when people do act like a moderator, they manage to get away with it and the only focus is on the original post from the one player
7. Players act like you can do anything and everything. I was trying to breed Thoroughbreds but it's hard to because their system of genetics for one thing, has never been explained that well,
8. I was told, by the people who own the game, that I was being "abusive" when I was only stating an opinion (I wasn't cussing, disrespectful, insulting, offensive, rude, swearing and/or using anything inappropriate. I wasn't saying anything abusive). There are other people that have said that I wasn't being abusive at all.
There are a ton more complaints but I'm only going to list those 8 since there's so many more.

Re: Warning to everyone
I played howrse a few years back until I got bored with the way the game works. It's a pay-to-win system so if you have a lot of real life money to spend then you can actually accomplish something in the game.

Which I can't do. My parents won't let me spend real world $ on a gameTotina wrote:I played howrse a few years back until I got bored with the way the game works. It's a pay-to-win system so if you have a lot of real life money to spend then you can actually accomplish something in the game.

OMG,I used to play it too! My account is still active and running but I do have to agree with you Oreo. HWO is much better and more worth our time and money. So much more variety, a better community, and full of fun things to do.

I agree completely. I played Howrse a couple years back, and it was super annoying. I wasn't able to accomplish anything. I'm glad to find that HWO is easier, and not at all the same as Howrse.

Re: Warning to everyone
I HAVE AN ACCOUNT ON HOWRSE. Howrse is terrible. They barely explain ANYTHING. I deleted my account. Like you said, there is SOOOO many complaints. One of my big ones is that it's hard to earn money, get new horses, open an Equestrian Center, make new breeds- I think making new breeds on that game is so hard-- Especially since they don't explain ANYTHING. Another thing is.... They have fairly good horse graphics, but the actual game- Moving around and stuff and entering them in shows is kind of glitchy if you know what I mean. It doesn't run as smooth as Horse World Online. Also, I don't like how Howrse's training is. How they have stars instead of "%"? Haha... The Admin's probably enjoy listening to how much better Horse World Online is than Howrse. Quitting Howrse is a better option than playing the game. I picked the Spanish Norman horse I think.... The one that is black and it is really good at Dressage? I also hate how they use Magic. (Example the wand that makes your mare give birth to twins).PeacefulOreo wrote:I have had a bad experience with a game called Howrse. I 100% agree with you, although I didn't realise quite how bad Howrse was until I read that other post or yours a bit further down. I have an account on the game that I just log into every couple of days in order to harvest crops and build stuff, but now I think I'm just going to delete my account - I don't want to support such a terrible game via ads.PeacefulOreo wrote:I have had a bad experience with a game called Howrse.
