Hey, I am a newbie and need some help.
I have a friend who has had premium and I'd love to have it too!
Also, I don't know how to get more pony tokens and money I've tried LVL 10 local shows with a fully trained Arab but it doesn't work?

A good grinder can earn you both days and PT in local shows at the highest level they can earn nominally first places...
That being said, a few things to keep in mind.
They CAN earn you days and PT, they May Not. It's rather random.
Firsts aren't the only placements that can earn both days and PT, I've seen it in seconds and a third a time or two (I think that's what I remember), but firsts do appear to earn a much greater number of them.
Choose the best competition the horse does best in. In-hand is a good fallback, but for arabians, it's generally endurance.
HGP of the horse does impact ability (insofar as AC horses won't generally do as well as bloodlined horses), so a good grinder should at least have an HGP of 45,000.
And lastly... it takes time. You won't earn a PT or a day every turn you use. Sometimes it will take a few turns before you see anything. Then sometimes you'll go multiple turns raking in the extras.

So, it may be your grinder is not a good grinder... but it may be that it's just the way it's going right now... So double check the things I offered to keep in mind and if something isn't quite right, see if you can fix it to upgrade your chances of earning those extras.
