Thank you guys so much!!
No direct answers from me, because it comes down to the trends and needs of the community. These can change very quickly where one day, 50k stud fee will be used repeatedly, while the very next day, it will be ignored and passed over.

However, there are some things that can upgrade a stud fee and having a competition record is a very easy way to do so... if... your horse can compete and does well.

Otherwise, check out the creating ads help topic. It can offer you some further insight into what can change your horse's worth.

What it comes down to though, especially since some stud values are just entirely unpredictable, is to put them up for a price you feel is a fair, high-end to begin at and if the horse sees no use, slowly come down until it is used. Of course, you must keep in mind the trends and needs of the community and that one day you might get a lot of attention on one particular stud, and the next you will get nothing (these trends can go on from week to week, or from month to month).
