Re: Color on this Thoroughbred?
I'd say he is a flaxen sooty chestnut; his mane is lighter than the body (so flaxen) and his lower body seems slightly darkened (that is the sooty). He might have dun (because his forehead and cheeks icluding the upper body seem lighter) but I'm sot quite sure because the color is just off by a little bit :/Ms. Trouble Maker wrote:

Re: Color on this Thoroughbred?
That’s what I’m thinking! But I have tons of flaxen Chesnuts and Liver Chesnuts! But maybe this is just a lighter variant??

Well, you have quite a few red duns in your pastures. Do you have photos from him at 1 year?Ms. Trouble Maker wrote:That’s what I’m thinking! But I have tons of flaxen Chesnuts and Liver Chesnuts! But maybe this is just a lighter variant??

Re: Color on this Thoroughbred?
I see no indications of dun, but there is a lot of pangare.
So flaxen chestnut pangare with of course, sooty dapples.
