Image Rendering

Post by Jewels Training »

All newly born horses have been swirly grey image rendering words since around 2:30pm Pacific, and still are doing so. I have four year old mares that still haven't rendered. This is a big problem, since I am breeding for both color and stats.

I have had this problem occasionally for a half hour or so now and then, but nothing like this. I have tried all the recommended methods (clearing cache, re-booting, doing something else for six hours, but all to no avail.

Has anyone else been having this issue today?

I know that HallOfFame has had this issue, and I am worried that my foals aren't going to render when my mares foal in a turn or two.
I also looked at their foal, and it wasn't rendering for me either.

Are my foals rendering for you? Sure would love to know what they look like. I have one mare in barn five that hasn't rendered yet, and the rest are either in Foals pasture or Z1 Evaluation Barn or Z1 Project Barn 1 or 2.

If they are rendering for you, please let me know!

Yours aren’t rendering for me and I literally just got a foal that won’t render this last turn I took.

Just got a new crop of foals and none of those rendered either. It's been more than eight hours. I hope it's working by tomorrow morning...

Yeah, several people have reported it in bugs and errors, some people’s horses stop doing it when they get a few years older. Here are the posts:

I've tried all those suggestions (except for re-homing). The game is basically unplayable when the horses don't render, especially if color/pattern/mane/tail/feathers is any part of the project. At the very least, it takes most of the fun out of the game (looking at the horses is my favorite part).

I've had the problem before as well, but it wasn't like this. Going on nine hours and I have well over 12 horses with the issue, ranging from newborn to five years of age, and those are just the one's I kept. I've re-homed at least 50 and none of them rendered. Jasmine_Hanley's foal is not rendering for me either.

Really feels like there's a hardware problem on the server end. Or maybe a patch that went awry. Or maybe the hamster running in the wheel in the server room died..

Something is up with the renderer. We are looking into it now.

It should be fixed now. It will take a little while to work through the back log but it's running smoothly.
