I personally would have to see a link to the horse to evaluate it. For me, it would depend on breed, age, stat numbers, winning percentage, and events the horse is a champion in. Also, training percentage would be a factor.

I agree with what vallers replied.
If fully trained, I'd start with at least 15k (generally the cheapest full training that can be found by the quick trainers with just a couple exceptions), but in my book, full training comes with a check of 25k to begin with. Beyond that, there are plenty of other factors that must come into play. Of course, age certainly will decrease this price very drastically the closer the horse gets to 17 years.
