Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Dressage Arabian Crossbreeds

Post by PeacefulOreo »

I'm looking to work on breeding a few Arabian crosses and training them for Dressage. This is completely separate from my purebred Arabian breeding project. Here's what I need:

1. a long face
2. a shallow jowl
3. a medium length of neck
4. sloping shoulder angle
5. a low shoulder point
6. a deep rib cage
7. a flat hip angle
8. thicker legs but not too thick (about medium)
9. a backward stifle placement
10. a fairly long back (a bit longer than medium but not too much longer than that)
11. an uphill croup height
12. the face profile to be in the middle of Convex/Roman and Concave/Dished
13. a green/gold stat in each of the following traits: Movement, Tempo, and Balance
14. No red stats
15. Needs to have some Arabian blood
16. Can be an Arabian crossbreed with these other breeds: Andalusian, Oldenburg, Lusitano, Holsteiner, Dutch Warmblood, Danish Warmblood, and/or Westphalian horse.
17. Height would be preferred to be exactly or between 15 hands and 17 hands.
18. I would like the horse's build to be no more than medium heavy

I will also accept these other Arabian crossbreeds IF the horse meets all of the requirements from above: Thoroughbred, Connemara, Hanoverian, Friesian, Lippizzaner, Morgan, American Saddlebred, American Standardbred, Akhal-Teke, and/or Anglo Arabian

Anything else that isn't specified does not matter.
