Hi Im new

Post by GentleGiants »

Hi guys!
Im new to this game and pretty confused on how things work lol.
I just sold my first horse, who was actually my first foal! yay!
I also started trainig courses so I can train and compete horses! this all is so exciting!
so far this is all I got figured out lol. I love the market and adoption center, such nice horses to choose from. once I earn enough money I hope to buy some cool looking horses!!

I hope you guys can help me get settled in this game and I hope I end up liking this game.
Ive played all kinds of other horse games before, but got bored pretty fast, lol, or gave up cuz the game got to difficult to keep up. (I hope this one isn't like this)

ive been reading in this forum place the different things people are writing/saying/doing, and if im not mistaken, this is where other players/members can communicate with each other and share their experience in this game, right?

Im really excited to meet some of you and hope I make some friends :D

any help, information, or points would be greatly appreciated!!

nice meeting you all!!

(oh yea, how do I get into the chat room? I keep clicking it and nothing happens :( is it blocked? or not working?)
and do people even go in there to chat? I would love to meet some players in this game!!! :D

bye! :D

You have to have 5 approved posts before going in to the chat. I would recommend saving your money and poney tokens. You can use the pony tokens to upgrade to premium for free once you have enough. Also, do not buy more than one barn, and only buy a new pasture when you need the room. Don't buy flashy expensive horses until you have money to waste. I would also upgrade the number of horses you can have to at least 30 before completing training courses.

HI!
nice to meet you! Thank You for responding so fast! and thanks for the tips! I appreciate it!
Im so not smart lol, of course I should get more space for my horses first so I can have more, before doing training skills lol!!
and I just wasted the 5k I had to do training skills lol ugh, now gotta save up to do the horse ownership skills :D hahaha oops

also, just wanted to ask anyone who can answer this question,
I noticed that when i have time to be on this game for a while (such as today) and my days are out, i kinda get bored. not sure what to do meanwhile, other than to read the forum. i was wondering how i can invest that time into doing something for profit, you know, so i can make some money. things are so expensive here lol

thank you in advance!

I always recommend checking out our help, guides section once you get your bearings on the game.
Including this guide for newbies:

Quick Start Guide For Newbies

And this guide when you finally decide where your goals are:

Extensive User Guide

And this guide when you want to start training:

~DWM~ Horse Training Guide

There is a lot of information in our help, guides section, but it's quite comprehensive so it can get overwhelming if you try to go through it when you're fresh to the game.

Start slow and get your bearings, we'll be here if you get stuck.
I also recommend you seriously consider vallers advise. Many of us have found this advise 'life-saving' on this game. Upgrading is a personal preference, players can survive and thrive quite well with never upgrading.

Welcome! Aside from all of the potential goals--whether it be breeding horses that look like giraffes or trying to breed horses that accurately represent a certain breed, to high stat or competition-oriented critters (really you could work toward just about anything)--the turn-based system allows you to move at your own pace so you never have to worry about keeping up with the game. You can spend as much or as little time as you like without losing your work.

hey, I have a random question.
as I come back to this thread and read everyones responses, im noticing my responses to each player are not being showed here in the list.... is this normal? will I not be able to see what I sent the other person?
in other threads, I see people communicating back and forth and you can clearly see whose talking to who, but here I just see the posts from Bitapetone, BlackOak2, and vallers.
are you guys getting my responses, or no?

im confused and afraid your not getting my responses, yet it seems like you guys are answering any new questions I have. so why don't I see my own posts????

Hello! Welcome to the game! Hope you enjoy it and stick around for years to come. :)

You have to have 5 approved posts on the forum before the system allows you into chat.

I would at least complete half of the horse management skills (which allows you about 106 out of a max of 211 horses)/ all the broodmare skills and half or a quarter of the stallion handling. If you want to focus on breeding first before training. complete all the horse management, the broodmare and the stallion handling first.

Then you can start the training courses if thats the way you want to go. I would do all of the Energy saver courses. Then complete all the training techniques and advanced training courses. After that complete stamina, intelligence, movement, tempo, balance, strength, agility then speed.

You can also complete the ticket crafting under training skills in case they implement that anytime soon. So that you have that whole training skill tab completed before you move to competition management.

I would do competition management last because you have to spend money to make money here. So once you start making money and wanting to host comps you can complete all those skills in that tab in any order so that you can host up to 10 comps and up to level 10.

If you have any questions or need any help just ping me here if you like, ping me in my farm forum or look for me in chat if im on (once your able to access it).

Hope i helped you with what i had to say :D
