Weight Loss

I have a Colt that I just recently bred and i have him in a barn and he is not gaining weight :( . I have him on 100% alfalfa, alfalfa cubes, and performance mix. im at a loss :?: . it says he should have 300% daily energy but he only has 35%. Please help, thanks :) .

Check the max amount (weight) the horse van eat, your likely over it, especially with that much alfalfa and cubes, so he fills up with whatever's highest on the list first and he's probably only getting around 35% energy off that. Switch him of to the highest percent weight gain you Can without exceeding the weight max, if you still have room for more feed, feed as much corn as you can without exceeding the weight of feed max.

Unless it's a glitch horse (there is very rarely these that pop up), to make them drop quickly, just put them in a barn with no feed.
To make them loose weight slower, leave them in a pasture and keep it mowed short.

(Glitch horses will not gain or loose weight regardless of what's done)
