Should I train my horses for breeding purposes?
I was wondering what the purpose of training my horses is from a breeding perspective? I understand that a trained horse does better in competitions and will earn me more money from winning comps and is probably worth more if I sell it, but does it affect anything when it comes to breeding? Do the offspring become better, and if that's the case, how much better?

Training wouldn't affect the offspring.Ljusalv wrote:I was wondering what the purpose of training my horses is from a breeding perspective? Re: Should I train my horses for breeding purposes?
the only reason to train a breeder is to see where your line stands as far as competing in events. Such as if you are breeding horses for racing, then periodically you want to test your line to make sure that you are breeding the right stats/build for that discipline and what your line is currently capable of.Tjigra wrote:Training wouldn't affect the offspring.Ljusalv wrote:I was wondering what the purpose of training my horses is from a breeding perspective?
