What color is my horse?
What color is my horse? He looks like a bay with a white mane and tail. How old does he need to be before any potential spots show up? He's part Appaloosa.

Re: What color is my horse?
I am a newbie at horse coloring and dilutions, but I believe he is a blood bay with a flaxen mane and tail. It is highly likely that I am wrong, though.Redhorsedream wrote:What color is my horse? I may have linked the wrong thing last time. I can't see because it's not approved yet or something.

LP varnish and snowflakes usually appear around age 1, but in this case, I doubt he's inherited the LP that triggers varnish and allows patn1 or patn2 to express. Meaning, he technically could've gotten the patn-genes his sire has - but just not be able to express them since he isn't LP.
