Adoption and Other Question

Hi All!

So I go to the adoption page and it only seems to show me horses 4yrs or older (well by a couple months). Am I just not picking the "foal" of the group shown to me? They all look the same except for color, though I was looking for an Arabian and they all seem to be dilute colors, nothing Bay or Black (except for potentially base color). Normal?

My list of breeds to pick from is very limited. I was hoping for Thoroughbred but I am guessing that I have to breed for it?

Next question is Member names, so far these look permanent. Is there any way to change them if the need arose? I am currently deciding if I like my member name... Lol I just am not totally thrilled with it.

And last question for now. What is the gold "PT" coin at the top of the page? It had a little number associated with it but mine is now at zero and I have no idea what it is or how I may have ended up using it?

I tried to read through much of what is available to me for resources about learning what is currently available of the game. But I don't recall seeing anything that explained the little coin.

Usually adoption center horses are foals. New testers have the great fortune of not having to wait the three to four years for babies to grow up, in order to speed testing.

Colors are currently not set correctly, so that's why you're seeing Arabs with dilutes, and large numbers of dilutes in other breeds,

Yes, you must breed for anything that isn't an ancient breed. Once the populations for other breeds are high enough, they will appear in the adoption center as well.

I don't think we can change our names ourselves, but Larissa might be able to if necessary.

PT are pony tokens, the currency used to buy horses from the adoption center.

How does one earn them back?

I did too! I didn't realize there was a limit on adoptions. I figure there'll probably be a reset in not too long so I'm not that worried about messing it up this time.

Since we're in testing, you could probably just send Larissa a request for more. In the live game, I believe they'll be earned through shows.

Live game they'll be earned through a variety of ways, including shows and simply finding them while performing actions. Might have to talk to Larissa about preventing farming them by constantly refreshing the page, or placing a heavy but tiny stone on F5 and walking away. Anyways, she's made it rain pony tokens before so it's worth a shot.
