Weird age increments?
I thought that horses aged in 2 week (1/2 month) increments. But I suddenly noticed that this guy is age 18 years, 11.2 months: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1415836
Anyone know what causes this? Do some horses age at different rates for some reason?

There is a little debate over this.aersel wrote:I thought that horses aged in 2 week (1/2 month) increments. But I suddenly noticed that this guy is age 18 years, 11.2 months: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1415836

This topic should fully answer your question, or at least get you closer.

Interesting. Your explanation on that thread makes perfect sense - thank you!BlackOak2 wrote: There is a little debate over this.

Re: Weird age increments?
This is just a display issue with ages. Being bought or sold has nothing to do with it.
