So I brought a stallion from the market-place instead of a mare. I cant continue with my tutorial now?

You can still continue the tutorial.
Are you saying you're out of funds? If it's money, do some of the local shows. If it's pony tokens, do some of the local shows. You'll earn money from the locals and every so often, you'll also earn pony tokens.
