How Many Breeds?

I'm kicking around a few different stable themes focusing on horse breeds from a specific region of the world or that excel in particular disciplines, etc, but I'm not quite sure how many breeds I'll be able to take on.

I realize that this is kind of individual - the amount of time a player has, their patience, how closely said breeds are related, etc.

But what would you say is a good safe bet on how many different breeds someone can realistically take on? I see some stables only breeding one breed and others with five or six different breeds going that are completely unrelated to each other.

What would be your recommendation for the number of breeds someone should aim for? Just one? Two? Ten, lol? I just don't want to say I'm going to aim for, say three breeds, or five breeds, or whatever and then find out I'm in over my head and have to decide which one to let go of.

lol, definitely makes sense. My only quandary then would be which direction to go in terms of choosing settling on a theme.

What does everyone think? I'm kind of torn between three. One has a lot of breeds no one focuses on, another has a lot of breeds used to build other breeds, and the other one is just kind of a mish-mash. What I've been kicking around are:

Southeastern European breeds (Bosnian Pony, Hucul, East Bulgarian, Nonius, Gidran, Furioso, etc)

British Isles (TB, Welsh Cob, Irish Draught, Irish Cob, Suffolk, Kerry Bog, Cleveland Bay, Highland, etc)

Racing Breeds (TB, Akhal Teke, NAB/WAB, Russian Trotter, Orlov Trotter, Coldblood Trotter, AQH, etc)
