You go to player> skills> training. You pay to take these courses, and once you have enough finished, you’ll be able to train quickly.

Along with investing in the training skills (especially the Energy Saver skills), always train Stamina first. Stamina affects how much energy your horse expends on the training activities.

If you have not invested in any of the training skills, the first several months of training should look something like this to be most effective:
-10 min Collection & Impulsion + 5 min Collection and Impulsion
-20 min Collection & Impulsion
-20 min Collection & Impulsion + 5 min Collection and Impulsion
-30 min Collection & Impulsion
The first month you won't be able to do any more than 15 minutes because the horse has no Stamina and you have not invested in Energy Saver. After a few turns like this you should be able to move up to 20 minutes. A few more months and you move up to 25, and so on. As the horse's stamina increases the amount of time it can work will also increase, thereby increasing the gains in training for the day.

After one or two rounds of Energy Saver you should be able to work a horse for 20 minutes the very first day you train it. After you have fully invested in Energy Saver and Stamina training skills you will be able to train a horse for 30 minutes after 1 game month of training (2 turns). By the time stamina is fully trained a horse will use 5% energy for 30 minutes of training in almost anything, meaning that they get 20 turns of training per day.
