Stamina Training
Hi!! Newbie here... I'm looking to improve my horse's stamina. Which training/settings should I be doing to increase my horse's stamina?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Stamina Training
I always start with Collection and Impultion at the walk for as much time as possible. This adds Stamina, strength, and intelligence. I do this untill stamina is at least at 90%. After that training gets so much easier. Depending on how many player courses you have completed, it can take anywhere from 1-3 years to finish stamina training. I have completed almost all the stamina training player courses so it only taked me 1-2 years to fully stamina! If you need anything else let me know!Sinful Colors wrote:Hi!! Newbie here... Re: Stamina Training
I do it a little differently than Rose. I start on lunge on the flat on the highest time possible. I continue until stanima is halfway trained, then change the speed to gallop for the highest amount of time possible. Doing this allows me to finish stamina in under a year.Sinful Colors wrote:Hi!! The first step you should take before training any horse is the training courses. After you have been doing those for a while I always to collection and impulsion for the longest time possible until it gets to 90%, then start training other stats.

Re: Stamina Training
That is exactly what I do. I have all the stamina courses done up to level 3.Jasmine_Hanley(2) wrote:Sinful Colors wrote:Hi!! Newbie here... I'm looking to improve my horse's stamina. Which training/settings should I be doing to increase my horse's stamina?

Re: Stamina Training
I’ve been experimenting lately to see how to get my training done faster and have about four horses all doing the same thing. I’m trying to do collection and impulsion until stamina is to 99% then train balance, and then train agility/tempo. By the time I’ve trained stamina to about 96.5% the speed is already finished, and sometimes strength, so that’s good. I’ll have to check my training levels, but they’re quite high since all my courses take up to 16 days to finish.Rosecreekstables wrote:That is exactly what I do. Re: Stamina Training
I train collection and impultion until stamina is at 90%. Than I train jumping obstacles at a canter until agility is at 90% and then i train lunge over Cavaletti until movement balance and intelligence is full. Sometimes I have to train speed sometimes I don't. I always finish training in 3-4 yearsJasmine_Hanley(2) wrote:I’ve been experimenting lately to see how to get my training done faster and have about four horses all doing the same thing.
