Palomino Blanket or something else?
Michelangelo

I'm 99% sure he's a palomino blanket but he seems lighter than my other palomino horse so I'm not sure

Re: Palomino Blanket or something else?
He looks lighter because he is diluted by the dun gene as well as him cream gene. (So he's a Palomino Dun.) He's also got a lot of shine from training, as well as some light varnish starting to show. (You can tell the varnishing if you look closely near the edges of his blanket - the small, darker spots are the parts of his Lp pattern that won't varnish with age.)rembrant wrote:Michelangelo

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. The whole coloring thing is so interesting, but it's so hard!Silverine wrote:He looks lighter because he is diluted by the dun gene as well as him cream gene. (So he's a Palomino Dun.)
