Riding
Will we actually be "riding" the horse? Like in shows and stuff? And if so will there be trails and cross country courses and dressage and show jumping, western, hunter/jumper etc? And could the horse get hurt while out riding and is there like a person like an avatar?

The main game is 2d only with no riding like you are thinking. There will be competitions though, and there will be player avatars.
We are working on a 3D extension to the game where you will actually be able to ride your horses around in a big 3D world and ride over jumps etc. You can see some previous here:
If you skip to the end of the video you'll see the barn and some horses.
We've also built an arena with some jumps but we don't have a video online yet.
If you get an Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset when they hit the market then you'll be able to play the game with a full virtual reality experience.
This 3D game is a side project though, our primary focus is the web based game.
