Random potential?

Post by LlamaLlama99 »

I was breeding with the same mare and stallion and the foals were getting progressively worse potential wise! Is this a pattern? If it is supposed to be like that why?

Thanks! :D

I do not know if your question has been answered yet. If not:
Each horse has a particular set of genes, both hidden and visible (think coat color and competition ability). Technically speaking, it could be considered a pattern. The mare and stallion you have may be carrying poor genes, thus all the foals are worse than the parents. It is part of breeding (and the fun of the game, in my opinion), to figure out what horses carry the genes 'we' desire and which matches offer us the outcomes we're looking for.

Good Luck!
