Blue Mane?

Is it just me or does my filly have blue hairs on her mane?? :shock:

I believe that is the way the game shows there is neck color under the mane.

Maybe they're blue-gray? I've seen some horses with darker manes, but similar to hers

my favourite stallion has that grey-blue in his mane and tail expcept because he is a lot older (15+i think) it shows a lot more then on your gorgeous filly

In this case, the reason the mane looks blue in color, is because it is not white. The rest of the mane is actually white from the leopard complex gene. The blue-color is actually a bleached out chestnut offered entirely by the affects of the cream gene.

Also, your horse appears to have the flaxen gene (as indicative of the pale coloration on the lower legs), so this is playing a part in the color on the mane and tail that is not affected by Lp.

Plus, another gene that can make a mane or tail blue in color (although I don't see it affecting your horse), is the sooty gene.
