I bought a brand new [+1] American Shetland and it had some rating that I am very unfamiliar with. What does it mean when under the 'Owner's Comments' section on a horses profile, on mine it says 3* American Shetland?

It means that the person whom you bought the horse from had probably evaluated the horse in the American Shetland's Book (Available in the Book store) And it rates 3 Stars for the breed.
