Self Sufficient?
I was wondering, will there be a possibility in the future to be 'self sufficient'? What I mean by this is basically, is there any chance we'd be able to grow our own hay/grains? This could be an 'upgraded' or 'perk' where you'd have to buy plots of tillable land either with real money currency, or available to upgraded players, or however else you'd like to implement it.
How I see this working;
1 plot can have 1 type of hay/grain.
Max number of plots set by 'space'. (world building perhaps?)
Plot needs seeds. (Or perhaps you could purchase hay or grain from market and extract seeds from it and use them?)
Plot needs time to grow. - Certain number of 'turns' perhaps? Or hours like the learning lessons for players?
More complex ideas:
Weather could affect crops. Rainy days = good. Dry humid = bad. Winter = winter crops only, etc.
Or
Ability to buy a sprinkler system, fertilizer, etc.
Just an idea

Re: Self Sufficient?
Short answer: yes to pretty much everything you've suggested. I've already created seed items to match all hay types. Additionally when you own your own farms you can plant grass in your pastures and the horses will the grass in the pasture as part of their regular feeding. There is the potential for over grazing a pasture too if too many horses are kept there.
