Some things that matter to me might not matter so much to other breeders, so I would encourage you to choose what matters to you most about a horse. I won't rank them this time, but here are some good general guidelines:
1. Don't rely just on conformations; also read breeder's reports. A number does not mean much if the breeder's report comment is bad.
2. Look at GP to determine how likely a horse is to pass on its traits to its offspring.
3. Also, though, beware of GP in the 60s range and up. That often means a horse has high COI.
4. Try to visually analyze the horse. I know you don't have premium right now, but you can tell a lot about your horse just by looking at it. Here are a couple general guidelines that you can see on your horse easily:
- thick legs = strength
- short backs = strength
- short face = agility; long face = stamina; medium face = balance
- long neck = speed; short neck = strength; medium neck = agility & balance
- shallow flank (where the horse's hind leg meets the stomach) = speed; deep flank = stamina
For clarity, here is a horse with a shallow flank:

and here is a horse with a deep flank:

The shallower flanks will curve up, but the deep flanks join to the leg in a straighter line.
Hope this helps!
