So...I think I like the appy breeding so much, I'm going to trash my 2nd account since I'm not very far on the paint breeding...and build a 2nd line of appys since all of them are now mostly spawned from this line...

Re: Figuring out the Appy patterns (updated)
I already do two breeds.. that's the problem! Neither one have spots! Both of them can be sabino, but neither have appy spots!
Then again, neither can be champagne either, and yet...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure arabians aren't supposed to have them either, but I see a black appy arabian in my future if I have my way.
And now begins the long hunt for something up for adoption that has spots...

Re: Figuring out the Appy patterns (updated)
I think that's the challenge too! since every horse carries some sort of a gene....no imagine how hard it'll be for new people to keep some horses solid colors since every horse carries some sort of white patters....some horses are supposed to be a solid color! Like Friesians! When people think of Quarter horses they think of the average chestnut color with a white mark on the face and possibly the feet....very rarely do you find a solid color Quarter Horse

I have just started playing with the markings, but I'm already in love!
This is a quite pretty snowflake stallion in my eyes.
Base is a metallic brown dun, but he's varnishing quite a lot. still, the snowflakes are cute ^^

Pretty!
I am working on line 2 now and already have an appy for both sides! It's a little harder just starting with the snowflakes only rather than the patch.

Yes, most seem to have both or only the blanket. Probably because it takes a few months to show up and many might rehome thinking its a dull horse at first.
My favorite part about this game is watching the colours mature and figure out what it actually is.

I'm open to buying some of those loudly marked ones, for a reasonable price. Fillies especially.

I'll try to remember to ping you when I go back and age up my other account. My stud seems to produce mostly fillies, so I've been selling a few of them.Syn wrote:I'm open to buying some of those loudly marked ones, for a reasonable price. Fillies especially.
