I don't know. lol I just bought a prezewalski horse from adoption center and bred it to a shetland x Turk
Soooo lets see what that does!! hahah

I only have 150 PT left...but I have all the money you could every dream of! lol So if I run out of PT before you create something you can pick any insane amount for a stud price! lol

Well my mares just had their foals that were sired by an adoption center belgian, didn't get any pattern at all, all the moms had pattern, so now they are being bred to an adoption center Arab, crossing my fingers something cool pops up.

I don't have a lot of player bonuses, so it takes me a bit longer to age horses and such! I think I regenerate every 10 minutes and get 6 days.
This is the horse I bred my Prezewalski to.

Yeah same here. I saved up my pony tokens though and bought a one month upgrade so I can go a little bit faster but not much haha. And he's really pretty.

On my other account, I have a couple Perez mares bred to LP studs. My Caspians didn't produce much, but I'll age them out to see if they have any interesting varnish or snowflake patterns going on and breed back.

I was reading the description again on how to make the patterns...maybe you can't breed Forest horse with a forest horse or Belgian with a Belgian....Maybe the Shetlands are the only ones that actually carry the appaloosa Gene, but the other breeds determine how big the spots could get??? The master Gene is only found in Shetlands and Tarpans....but there are 2 breeds that will determine how much white will be on the foal....so possibly

Shetland x prez
Shetland x Forest
Shetland x Arabian
Shetland x Belgian
Shetland x NAB
Shetland x Turk

Tarpan x Prez
Tarpan x Forest
Tarpan x Arabian
Tarpan x Belgian
Tarpan x NAB
Tarpan x Turk

Yup, only the Shetland and Tarpon have the LP gene, the "master switch". Then there are genes that control how much white and the various patterns, and those are found in the other breeds. See the original post in this topic for theories of which breed(s) do what, and if you come up with a theory, please post it here so others can see and test it.
