Vets and sickness

Post by KYTrainer »

Hello guys! First off, I want to tell you guys what a great game this is! I just have a few questions.
when will you guys add vets to the game?
I have seen some evidence that there will be vet related things soon. Like some skill points help in vet related things. But when will y’all release this?

Is there sickness in the game?

They haven’t added it yet but I hope they do soon!

These likely won't be added soon. But I'm of the belief that they will be at some point, of course. There are a number of other things that would probably be of more importance, things like geldings or mare sterilizations, mare approvals for stallions and some of the links like the pregnancy "when will my foal come".

Admin may have a projected schedule date for vet and sickness, but we haven't heard anything yet that I recall.

Honestly I think I’m looking forward to injury’s more than sicknesses as odd as that may sound. What I mean is, for example, when you show the horse in showjumping he will have a chance of injuring one of his legs because he hit a pole to hard and broke it sort of thing. I think it would also discourage players (cough cough, me) from training when the horse has fatigue. Not saying I want it to be possible for horses to die from injury, but I think it would be a neat way to implement some new ways of playing and make everyone think about what they doing instead of mindlessly pushing buttons at times. (Again, may just be me).

I'm sure it's all planned at some point and I'm looking forward to certain aspects (including this one) being added to the game.
But there are others that I'm looking forward to a bit more heavily than this one. However, we all have our own opinions and desires. I think this is why our admins take the communities feelings into account when they plan for the next large update.
I suspect it may be geldings and mare sterilization or another color update, but it's anyone's guess. Actually, the patron page may have quite a bit more information.
