Quality of Life Improvements

Hello! I haven't been here long in terms of real life time, but I have played extensively in the time that I've been here. I do love this game and the horse images are awesome. Very good work!

What I would love to see as a quality of life improvement for the player:

Automatically display the horse's breeding report (including the red, gold and green highlights), along with the horse's genetic potential and the COI on the listing screen for both the Horses for Sale and the Stallions at Stud.

While there is a button to insert the breeding report (which does not include the highlighted stats, the HGP or the COI) but as many stat descriptions overlap (same description for no highlight, green or gold) you can't really tell what you are looking at. In addition, a lot of people don't click on that button and list no information at all. Not a smart move on their part, but also frustrating for the potential buyer.

This would make it SO much easier to browse through horses for breeding or buying without having to click on each horse to find out if it's got what you need for your project.

Also, LOVED the Holiday gear! Can we have a holiday EVERY month?

I agree that some sort of aid in these areas would help.
Until some sort of permanent change comes to these areas, I applied a stopgap if anybody uses it, to at least aid people in what to include in the ads we all post.

Personally, I dislike reading the breeders reports on every ad. When I post for sale or stud I format it like this:

HGP: xxx,xxx
Golds: x,y,z
Green: a,b,c


I don't list COI, but that's not a huge factor for me, of course I strive for low COI when breeding my own, but a high COI won't stop me from buying a prospect, especially a show prospect. I also list what, if any, titles the horse has, but I usually sell before I've shown them.

I agree with you that the breeder's report as it currently stands on the market listings isn't that useful. However, just listing that the horse has gold speed (for example) still isn't enough information. There is a quite a large difference between "This mare is pretty fast" and "You have the next secretariat!" The first one I don't want and the second one I really really want. Just being told Gold speed, still means I have to click on the horse to determine if the horse's gold speed stat is high enough for my project. I really don't want to have to do that. Now if you listed the gold and green stats and also inserted the breeder's report, then I would have the information I need.

Unfortunately most people don't do that.

As far as COI is concerned, I don't really want to buy/breed a horse with 100+ COI. Also, sometimes you can't even tell what the horse's COI is because they have a really long name or a long breed (Arabian x Thoroughbred or whatever, and the COI is no longer visible in the box. Then I have to guess based on the parents' but sometimes you can't see theirs either.

When I can't see the COI (and I want to), I'm able to highlight the hidden words, copy and when I paste them, they paste well.

That is something we should get fixed though...

Now if you listed the gold and green stats and also inserted the breeder's report, then I would have the information I need.

Unfortunately most people don't do that.

Unfortunately, some people insert breeders report in the ad, and then go and edit it to their liking, so that the bad comments are turned into good ones. That is a clear fraud, but if the potential buyer is not careful, they might take the bite
So I am all for including breeders report automatically so that it is not possible to edit.

Also I am begging for horse's evaluation numbers to be at least visible in their first page somewhere, if we can't have them searchable from the market page. It's a serious pain in unmentionable place when you need to sift through 20 pages of stallion ads to search that very elusive and rare one that has, for example, enough body size to create the breed you are trying for, if you have to open every single stallion, go to their eval tab, scroll for the correct book, evaluate and then scroll again to see results. I am literally wasting hours on the stallion market because of this
