What diciplines are good for koniks?
Kind of newbie here, I've recently been breeding and competing koniks, but so far they haven't seemed to excel any of the diciplines I've entered them in. I looked at the leaderboards to see what koniks are champions in, but that only helped a little. Does anyone have any advice?

Apart from size-based competitions and natural disposition breed doesn't seem to matter, I guess.MasterD1mwitt wrote:Kind of newbie here, I've recently been breeding and competing koniks, but so far they haven't seemed to excel any of the diciplines I've entered them in. Getting high placements is dependent on a multidude of factors;
high breeders report evals fitting for the competition (there are guides for that, one I use most is this one http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... =3&t=11683)
the right confo for the stats (you need to be premium or can ask others for the Conformation Evaluation of your horse)
weight (also depending on which kind of comp; you can get the values from the ? mark of the feed-configurations for your horse)
temperament (look at the guide, it can vary though)
build (as in heavy/light) depending on the competition itself (logpull favours heavy; racing light, and so on)
there also is something like "heart" or an "competitive spirit"; some horses just seem to be less successfull than others without apparent reason;
sometimes it helps if you can go back and look how the parents did.
You could also compare the scores you get in locals to the current highscores on the records
I hope this helped somewhat?
